6 weeks 4 days ... Identical twins! So I hear it's very risky if they share the same amniotic sac.... Do you think in a few weeks they could each have their own sac, or by the looks of this do you think they will be sharing the same one?!?

Yay!!! So it was just confirmed that my twins are in separate amniotic sacs--- mono/di identical!!! So relieved.... Onto the next thing to worry about:)

They'll always share one if they do in be beginning. There's no such thing as splitting. 
It's risky to just have twins in general. Usually one will pass away 40-50% of the time before 10-12 weeks  (called vanishing twin).

Mine looked as if they shared the same sack but after I saw the specialist they each have their own sack it was just a very thin membrane separating them.. However, my babies do you supposedly share one placenta. Has your doctor mentioned a specialist? Mine referred me to one and they're both co-doctoring me.. If your babies do share one sac they have the chance of entangling the cords together.. My doc also said that if that was the case, one sac, that I would have to be put into the hospital at 25 weeks until I had them. Good luck mama!
