I went to my local bridal store and tried on a few dresses and I've fallen in love with one more expensive than what I was planning to go with.

Its beautiful, I love the uniqueness of the colours (not something I thought I would love so much).

However this was the dress I showed the lady helping me, to show her what I liked.

I love the ruching and now that I know the style suits me (amazingly) I'm unsure as to whether I go with the (almost) $3000 dress that I've tried in store. Or the almost $300 dress online.

I love both of them, and I'm a big fan of online shopping, but obviously, it could potentially be really sh*t quality compared to the picture.

My mum has dressmaking skills so certain things she'd be able to fix too though.

My original budget was between $1500-2000, but they gave me the first dress to try on for 'shape'.

They can do a long laybuy though (over 12 months) so I can pay it off bit by bit if needed.

I have so many mixed thoughts/emotions and just need an outside perspective.

TL:DR I love both, but ones cheap and online, and the other is over my budget, but super beautiful too. (And I've seen in person).

Also, getting married October/November 2020, just want to get the planning out of the way so it's less stressful later (and while I feel like planning lol).
