How long will you have your babe sleeping in your room before you move them into their crib?

Usually around 6 months then I start transitioning to crib. 
Sharing a room is recommended for newborns.

I will be a FTM so not sure but my goal would be to transition him to his crib once we start sleep training, likely about 8 weeks.  I’m talking with colleagues, seems like 6-12 weeks is pretty common which is a far cry from the YEAR that “experts” recommend.

My daughter is still sleeping in our room and she just turned two on Monday 😂 I’m not planning to move the new baby out any time soon. If anything my toddler will move out if she can’t sleep through the new baby’s crying.

I’m using the crib right away. I keep my room much to cold for baby and in his own room I can control the temp better.

We did 4 months for #1.  We planned on 6. She wasn't sleeping well in bassinet with her heartburn so doctor recommended the crib. She said we'd both sleep better and was not wrong. 
She also could turn over very early so was already dropped down in her bassinet to the lowest setting well before 4 months.  
We had to do big girl bed at 1.5 years because she could escape the lowest level in crib. We wanted to wait until 2.
So every step was earlier than we had originally planned.  Your baby will always throw you some curve balls

We bought a mini crib for our room so she’ll be in there from the get go. We’ll transition her out if our room at 6 months or when she starts sleeping through the night. With our son he wasn’t in his own room until about 9months old

9 weeks is when I transitioned my daughter into her crib. It will be around the same time frame for this next one.
