6 weeks pp! Still spotting and boobs leaking!!!! Can anybody else relate?

I had a c section so I’m confused as to why I’m even bleeding in the first place!?! Then my boobs are still leaking and I stopped breastfeeding after week one! I thought as long as they’re leaking your period won’t come on???

You’re bleeding because your placenta was removed, leaving a massive uterine wound that requires healing, plus typical sloughing of your uterine lining after birth. You’ll likely still leak milk/colostrum for a while, and it won’t keep your period away as you’re not actively producing/feeding.

I had a c section. You’ll bleed either way. I bled until 4 weeks, and got my period at 6 weeks. It’s different for everyone. You don’t get your period if you breastfeed, the bleeding is normal until 8 weeks
