Cooking dinner in the middle of the night for this guy...

Because he’s been out all day laying the groundwork for the business he and his friend are getting off the ground this fall. He spent 12 hours out and about today between helping his mom with errands (she can’t drive due to illness) and meeting with the builders/investors/partners that are helping him and his friend launch their business. They’re both certified mechanics but my boyfriend also does custom car fabrications, which is where the huge money is. Basically you can buy a crappy $500 car and give it to him, in 4-5 weeks he will deliver a fully custom track-ready behemoth of a car complete with all track requirements (roll cage, emergency ejection protocol, modified suspension, new engine, modified wastegates etc). So the shop they’re opening needs space not just for general repairs but for full custom body work, welding, painting, and everything that goes into getting a car track ready. It’s a big undertaking and he’s so excited.

He busts his ass for himself, his son, me and my daughter (she’s not his) and doesn’t shy away from hard work. I couldn’t be prouder of him, he may have long days away from me sometimes but he’s building towards our future and I’m behind him 100%. He encourages me to live my life the way that makes me happy, supports my business, treats me and my daughter like queens, never sweats the small stuff, is always there for whoever needs him... I honestly can’t say enough about him. So when I got the call tonight at 10pm that he was a little over an hour away, I started cooking dinner for him. I ate hours ago but didn’t want him to come home to a several-hours-old plate that needed to be microwaved... not that there’s anything wrong with that AT ALL but we all know there’s nothing is better than a fresh plate. I finally caledit a night at about 11:10 so I put the plate in the oven on warm knowing he was close to home. He came in the bedroom and gave me a kiss first thing, then went out to the kitchen to eat. He sent me this message from the living room while chowing down.

There’s nothing he wouldn’t do for me, so there’s nothing I wouldn’t do for him. So proud to call this man mine 💕
