First Period After New IUD

I have my first period since getting my IUD. I haven’t had much spotting. Before I got my IUD, I used to have a super heavy flow and achy cramps. This period, my cramps were sharper. I was itchy as it started, and I notice my anxiety has spiked. I do have to say that my flow is so much lighter.
