First Period After New IUD

I got mine June 25th and I am just now spotting heavily, so I might be on my period. For me it is hard to know because I used to bleed a lot during my periods. The first few weeks were crazy for me, but once my anxiety meds plus the hormones leveled out then I was ok

Ive had it a year. I got mirena because its fda approved to treat heavy periods. My periods stopped after month 4 and i love it. Insertion felt like intense cramps but it was gone as soon as they cut the strings and removed the speculum. I had bad cramps like that for 2 to 3 weeks like stop and breathe cramps but they went away. It was so worth it for me even with those cramps. Those were the only side effects i got. We dont use condoms or pull out and i havent gotten pregnant. Ive tried pills, condoms, the shot and i will never use anything else again except the iud. No pills, no pharmacy, no periods. I check my strings monthly and thats it. Meds dont interact. Ive taken antibiotics and st John's wort oil and havent gotten pregnant. I love it! I didnt spot or bleed except my regular periods the first 4 months.
