Jizo ceremony of remembrance

Sa

Our therapist recommended that my husband and I find a ritual to recognize our miscarriage and process it. We ended up stumbling upon a ceremony called Jizo at a local monastery. It is specifically for remembering lost loved ones, especially children.

It helped us a lot and was very moving. If you are struggling to cope with a loss, I recommend seeing if you have Jizo ceremonies available at a monastery or temple near you or creating one of your own.
