Does your husband leave you behind when you’re walking places?

Every time my husband and I go some place he’s always walking ahead of me. It’s mainly when it’s some place around a lot of people. Grocery store, work/ family event. It’s very frustrating. Looking to see if it’s normal or not.

My girlfriend is a foot taller than me and does it by accident. But if she notices she’ll grab my hand or just walk slower lol.

I'm single so I can't really say much, but when I'm with my family at the grocery store or anywhere really I'm always walking way ahead of them, in my head I just want to get from point a to point b and I don't really think about it. Maybe he's the same? Just tell him that you wish he would stay beside you when you're out and go from there...

Lol, I walk faster than him half the time. I have to remind myself to slow down cause I'm so used to just speed walking everywhere especially working retail as long as I did. I would speed walk while working, or through the mall on breaks. So it's just normal for me now. 🤷

Lol my bf does it all the time but only cause he gets into whatever he’s doing and doesn’t pay attention so half the time I grab his hand to keep him at my pace 🤣🤣🤣

At the grocery store? Yes. We end up getting diff things and regroup at a diff isle. In public places like when we’re out together? Not really. He used to do that and walk way ahead of me when we first started dating, but after enough reminding him that I found that rude, he started to do it less.

Yes but not in purpose, his stride is just longer and a little faster than mine. If we hold hands it helps him be more conscious of how fast he's going lol

When me an my boyfriend are alone he will walk with me but if we are with his friends he will walk with his friends and leave me behind :( whenever I tell him I feel like a third wheel with him and his friends he tells me it’s because I don’t talk an join in on the convos but I’m very shy and idk most of his friends and when I do talk I get ignored

I always walk ahead cause I walk fast... a lot of people comment on how fast I walk so I try to slow down.

I usually walk pretty fast but my boyfriend is always trying to be aware of where I am when I’m with him. We are usually holding hands but when we aren’t we both still try to make sure the other is close by

I voted yes because I am the guilty party in this case.. I get frustrated in busy places by people who insist on walking side by side.. it’s impractical and seems rude to people who walk faster. This is just in public busy places though where there is only room for 2-3 people through a space at a time.. I don’t walk in front of my husband if we are out for a walk down the street or at a park.. only when we are at risk of blocking someone’s way
