i’ve 18 and have had my period for 7 years.

my period is so insanely regular it’s actually scary lol like i’m literally talking down to the hour regular!!

i’m not on birth control and i’ve been against going on it because this regularity has been consistent for 3 years and i don’t want any extra hormones messing it up.

my period only lasts 4 days, is light and i only get mild cramps on day 1 so i’m very lucky.

my mum thinks i should get on birth control before i move to university but i am so against it! i just don’t want to be putting extra hormones into my body that could possibly cause emotional side effects...

i also have never had any issues with only using condoms so i don’t see a need.

i just want some more opinions on the situation so please let me know what you all think
