How can you tell if your baby is head down?

She was head down for most of my pregnancy and last week she flipped and now i can’t tell how she’s facing 😩

I can feel my babies head in my pelvis with my hands. I can also feel him turn his head, it scrapes against my pelvic bone. 
Best way to tell would be where babies kicks are mostly. If more towards top baby is probably head down, if more towards the bottom, baby could be transverse or breech. 
Your doctor can feel as well, or a sonogram if baby is stubborn.

At your 36 weeks appt when they do the ultrasound to see if the baby’s head is down.

I can tell because my midwife told me the head was down, and since then I only feel hiccups way down near my bladder, so I know she hasn't moved

The butt is pointy rather than round so if you feel that at the top of your bump, baby is likely head down.  I can distinctly feel baby’s head in my pelvis though 😬
