I had an ultrasound today, my partner drove 8 hours each way and took off two days of work to come to the appointment with me and the ultrasound tech wouldn’t show us anything or tell us anything. I’m around 9.5 weeks. I was hoping this ultrasound would put some of my worries to rest but it has only amplified them. Has this happened to you?

Most techs aren’t allowed to tell you anything. And honestly ultrasounds aren’t to show *you* anything. They’re to show the doctor if the baby is healthy.

That how it always is when I get an ultrasound with a tech. They can not share any information or they will loss their job. When I see my MFM he does the ultrasounds him self and shows me and tells me everything right than. But I only see him because I am very high risk. It's pretty normal to have to wait and talk to your doctor after. Some times I get lucky and my appointment with the doctor are right after the ultrasound so i don't have to wait long.
