BBT has been proven NOT to be a reliable method to pinpoint ovulation. 
Research it and you will find many medical articles about it.

I agree with the first comment, but bbt has SO many variables that can change your temp, that it might make it just as accurate as opks. Honestly, TTC is hard work either route. Lol baby dust to all!

Opks don't confirm you have ovulated. They just identify the surge. You can get a positive opk and not ovulate.
If you're taking your temps consistently at the same time each day as soon as you wake then bbt is going to be the most accurate.
