How many days post ovulation

Can I test.... ?

I have a 26day cycle I’m due on next Thursday. I ovulated last Friday. So I’m 4dpo at the moment I think anyway 😂... if I tested on Saturday do you think an early detection test would pick a positive up? That would be 5days before period and 8dpo?

I’m too impatient 😬
