What convertible car seat do you recommend?

Looking for the best option for my Hyundai Sonata. the extend to fit would be the platinum version with the EZ latch installation.  Would love to hear if you have any of these and your thoughts?

I have the Chicco Nextfit Zip and I love it! My son always seems comfortable in it and I love that it’s easy to clean! My son had a blow out poop in it one time while we were several hours from home. My husband cleaned up the seat with baby wipes while I cleaned up the baby. When we got home later I removed the seat cover to wash it and couldn’t even see where the poop had been! I still washed it anyway, obviously :) we’ve used it since my son was born!

We love our Extend2fit. 
This was the day we got it, so we hadn’t taken out the new born stuff. 
I have a Elantra and my husband has a Lexus is250 or something (it’s about the size of an accord I think) and it fits great. There’s not a ton of room on the sides, but my dad got back there uncomfortably for a 5 minute drive. I can fit back there very comfortably. My husband is tall and he still has room to scoot the seat back.

The extend to fit is the most compact rear facing convertible car seat.  It also has one of the highest rear facing weight.
The only down fall I’ve heard is that if you FF before 40lbs, it requires a big incline that could create space issues.  I plan on rearfacing my son until he outgrown the limits (or as close to it) so that won’t be an issue for me. 
It is a big of a wide seat, so it could be tight if there’s other car seats back there.

Another vote for the Extend2fit. We love our seat and it’s perfect for our situation because my husband is 6’4 and needs leg room up front. The Extend2fit takes up less room than our infant seat did.

I have both the Chicco Nextfit and the Graco Extend. I LOVE the Graco seats. They’re compact but sturdy and steel framed. The latch system is so easy and user friendly was great for teaching in-laws how to use. My husband had a new Chevy 1500 and the chicco nextfit hardly fits in it he can’t recline or extend his seats when it’s in even in the middle seat. I think chicco is an excellent brand and the car seat is nice but it is so heavy forget about installing it in different cars or getting it out to wash.... the latch system on it is great but using the belt path is ridiculously hard. I paid over $300 for my chicco and it’s sitting on the floor in my nursery... I will say both seats very comfortably rear face my tall 2.5 year old
