Diva cup shorter period?

Does the diva cup shorten you period? Mine have seemed to stop a day shorter than normal...? Has this happened to anyone???

I find mine is shorter using a cup instead of a tampon, I find that sometimes the tampon causes more clots and they seem to get stuck as they don't absorb properly so I try to use a pad for at least a couple of hours each night to let them out. With a cup the clots just drop into the cup so there's no blockage, so everything happens much easier.
