Any one else’s 7 week olds not sleeping?!

I am honestly so jealous of these posts where babies are sleeping even 4 hours during the night! My little lady will be 7 weeks tomorrow and the past few nights has been up every 30 minutes. She is EBF, I use a heating pad to warm her bassinet, we use gas drops, diaper changes when she poops, she is swaddled. I don’t know what else to do. I am one VERY tired mama.

I am right there with you! Our little guy is 7 weeks and only falls asleep in our arms
or the carrier. Daddy takes him for two hour walks at night in the carrier. We basically trade off and combo wear or have him fall asleep on us. Not ideal to have him sleep on our chests but we needed to make sure he was sleeping. We just bought the dock a tot so we can transfer him to that without him waking up as much (sometimes better than others) and that has helped. We basically realized that he was in a phase where he needed to either be held
or feel like he was held and are trying to get through it. He is sleeping roughly two hours at a time and sometimes less so I feel your pain!

I’m with you on this. My LO has been super fussy & just ‘felt’ different - so I checked The Wonder Week’s and yes, it is cranky week building to leap two. Helps to explain bit obviously when your in the thick of it it’s hard. I hope you got some rest today.

Does she do well with a baby swing and the motion? We had to invest in the graco dream glider bassinet for overnight sleeping so that we could get longer stretches of sleep and it has help us a lot! Also white sound machine, also we invested in the nested bean swaddle that is weighted so if feels like we’re still holding/touching baby as they sleep.
