My husband and I have been having marital problems for a few months now I even posted recently about advice. I'm just tired of feeling worthless with him even talking never seemed to help. He admitted that he has let our marriage run cold and didn't really care how I felt. So instead of waiting on my "husband" to want me I decided I just wanted to date. I have been sleeping in a different room for weeks' now anyways. Anyways, it finally happened today I received a phone call awhile ago by this man that finally has intrest in me after chasing him for awhile and trying to get his attention towards me letting him know that I was interested still in him. This sweet man calls and asked..I was wondering if you would like to go out with me tonight for a dinner and a movie and I couldn't speak straight so I calmly said I would! I mean after all I was having martial problems so this was perfect! I got ready and met him in town so excitedly my heart was racing! As I climbed in his vehicle with my 10m old..my husband's face lit up with a smile as he gave me a soft kiss and thanked me for wanting to try dating each other once again. Ladies never stop dating your husband. You need to date every now and then and work on things never let your marriage run cold. It's the best part of being married is falling in love all over again 🥰😉

That's one thing I am blessed with my husband has never stopped "dating" me or treating me like he did when I was his girlfriend. Even after 5 years and 6 pregnancies(3 losses + 2 kids + 1otw) he can still make me giddy and have butterflies. Like tonight he said we are going out to eat. Yeah we will take the kids but he manages to make it special with or with out them. Saturday is going to be "our Christmas" and he wants to have a special dinner and exchange gifts after the kids go to bed. So glad your husband isn't giving up! Good luck!!
This was sweet. If only my ex husband thought the same way. He feels like it's up to me to do the whole "romantic" thing. Told him I wanted to go on surprise dinner dates, curl up with a movie and cuddle and he told me, "It sounds like you want a girlfriend." This is why my marriage failed.
That is awesome!! I wish my husband would think that way. He just doesn’t care about anything, don’t care about anything I say ever, I do feel worthless and I’m only here bc we have a child together (which is a good reason alone) , and to be his bitch! Don’t have a clue what to do anymore. He won’t go to counseling and he’ll it took me 10 times over 6 months of mentioning it before he heard what I said the last time I said it! .🤷🏼♀️. What did you do to change your pattern or is there any advice? I’ve tried to ignore him, I don’t bitch or complain, try to have fun (not like go outta my way kinda thing to where it’s weird), tried to have a serious conversation and tell him the way infeel, read 5 love languages AND listened to it?! I’m clueless please any suggestions are welcomed! I’m just about to give up but maybe there’s something I’m missing
