Naps during the day?

My son is 7 weeks and sleeps really great at night!!! Wakes up twice, consistently at the same time. Eats and goes right back to sleep
But during the day....he’s so tired and screams and will not sleep unless he passes out in my arms 
How are your babies napping? Are they sleeping whenever, wherever or are they scheduled naps?

Mine is 8 weeks and sleeps whenever wherever. I think this is to young to try sleep schedules.

I took a sleep course and she said that mastering naps tend to come later. From 0-3 months they have an hour to hour and a half awake window so I try to pay attention to her sleepy cues and offer a nap (swaddle, nap routine, put in bassinet) once she’s been awake for that amount of time. Some days we’re more successful than others. We took 3 naps in the bassinet yesterday ranging from 40 min to two hours. Today we only got one 45 min one 🤷🏻‍♀️

My 8 week old son takes two 2 to 3 hour naps every day. Plus he sleeps through the night. He sleeps 7 to 8 hours every night.

This is literally my baby..lol. I love that he is a great sleeper at night, but during the dsy..it's rough!

Mine does the same. Sometimes he’ll nap and sometimes he won’t. He sleeps whenever wherever. He sleeps really well in the car and I’ll also babywear him if he’s really really tired and not falling asleep.

If he is fed and changed and isn't gassy then just let him cry himself to sleep. Check on him every five minutes and don't make eye contact cause that will stimulate him into being awake. Try gripe water.
