Anyone tried a menstrual cup?

I just ordered one and I'm feeling a bit nervous about it. 
Have you tried one? What was your experience?

I love mine too. There's a definite learning curve, I would recommend trying it out on a lighter day and when you can stay home for at least a few hours. Try the site putacupinit for advice on insertion, getting it in the right place and troubleshooting. Be aware as well that it can take a couple of cups before you find the perfect fit for you, as they come in so many shapes, sizes and levels of firmness. Happy to answer any questions you have.

All I know is that health class told us to never ever use them and they are a new age scam that can lead to serious health problems, such as septic shock.  Tampons can do that too but it is less likely.  
Then we stared at a diagram of a flaccid dick for a while.
