spider bite?

i thought this was staph but everyone is saying it looks like a spider bite now. here is a picture from this morning then today around 6p.m. it is very painful to touch, warm to the touch, and my thigh to knee feel sore like after a workout. the bite or whatever this is, is located on my thigh. just wanted some input before i went to the doc. also 12 weeks pregnant.

You need to go to the dr and show them the pictures. Don’t wash off the black circle. Don’t know if it’s a spider bite or not without seeing it closer, but the way the flesh looks to be deteriorating in the center over time does appear to be a bite of some kind, I would assume a brown recluse bite (I have had it before also, and it can get bad very quickly). Rather be safe than sorry. They will likely just put you on an antibiotic, but definitely go. Especially since you are pregnant. Don’t want infection to get bad/spread to blood/etc and cause stress to baby

Keep the black circle on your skin and go to the doctor to show them how much it’s spread. Not good
