Rocker, bouncer or swing?

We’re considering getting a rocker/bouncer/swing kind of thing. I’m due in four weeks and have read so many mixed reviews for things and that every baby likes something different, feeling lost. 
What did your baby like best? What brand and model worked best? How long were you able to use the product for?
Please advise! Thank you!

I have this one and my son likes it! We’ve been using it since he was a few weeks old and he’s almost 9 months old now.

My suggestion is to buy a few from a used baby store. Every baby is different and you can find some great deals.

My girl didnt like any of that. The closest we got to a swing was a Graco Dreamglider that she only tolerated when already sleeping and only with it reclined all the way back.

My baby boy only likes this one. We tried a halo bassinet, and a swing, he would just cry when he was in those. We leveled out the rocker with the bar and then put some blankets in the bottom to allow him to lay flatter. He had reflux as a baby so I think being able to sleep slightly upright really helped. We ended up switching him to the bassinet portion in a pack and play when he was roughly 3.5 months old

We used the MamaRoo. It took up less space than a traditional swing and also has settings that are similar to a “bouncing” motion.

It depends on age really. Rocker is wonderful when they are young. My lo liked it but he is now outgrowing it and can roll out if he tries hard enough (5 months). He now much prefers a bouncer, now that he can reach the ground. We will probably get a jumper soon when he's a bit taller! Both items we got from others who heard I had a baby and wanted to get rid of the bulky items ;)
