Is it normal for the delivering doctor/midwife to stretch open vagina (very forcefully) while pushing?? The midwife (whom I only met while I was delivering) held my vagina open and it hurt so badly.. then an actual doctor walked in the room, put on gloves and did the same thing. It hurt so bad that I yelled at the actual doctor and told him to leave me alone. I had never met him before, either. I was very upset. The midwife forcefully stretched my vagina with four fingers the entire time I was pushing. Please let me know..
