Nexplanon??

Would you recommend nexplanon (the implant)? I’m seriously considering it, but I’ve read that it can cause a lot of anxiety and depression and I’m a very anxious person prone to depression. 
Should I get it?

I had the nexaplon implant and I absolutely hated it. I have endometriosis so my periods were heavy and irregular. The implant made them worse. I gained a ton of weight and was pretty depressed. I also have pretty bad anxiety and depression. Though I've heard people love it and it helped them with their periods and anxiety/depression. 
I have the mirena iud now and I love it. I've tried the pill, the implant, and the nuva ring. I don't dare go near the depo shot. So after having my son I jumped at the chance to try an iud. So far it's been the best one and works well for me.
Remember, everyone is different! I hope you find what works for you and don't be scared off by one person's experience. I strongly feel women know what's right for their bodies so listen to your gut!!

I dont recommend any birth control other than condoms, being that they do nothing great for our bodies. However, I had an “okay” experience w/ nexplanon. After insertion , I had a period for a month straight and I never had one again. If I had bleeding, it was minimal spotting. Its been a year since I’ve taken it out snd my body still hasn’t fully regulated itself. (I had it un for about 9months) I didnt get my first period until about 6 months after taking it out. I did gain 20lbs as well in combination w/ college eating habits and no activity.....everyones body is different.🤷🏾‍♀️

No. Definitely NO. It messed up my life so bad. Please google "Nexplanon ruined my life" so many women's lives have being affected by this.

don’t get it. if you’re already an anxious / depressed person, this could make it really bad. I used to have it and I literally turned into a whole different person. everything irritated me, I cried all day long, I had the shortest temper, I just wasn’t myself. it was horrible. I also didn’t stop spotting.
