So my in-laws gave us some furniture and guess what I just freaking found. A bedbug! I’m so disgusted right now and freaking out. We bought this new house not too long ago (February). We were saving up for the couch we wanted (memory foam) 😍 but my in-laws offered us their couch since they are moving into another house soon and my husband says yeah that we’ll take it at least until we can get our dream couch.

Well, here we are tonight cuddling on the couch and I see this little thing crawl by my notebook and I scoop it into this throw away cup that we had sitting there. Low and behold it’s a bedbug. How do I get rid of them? How many are there if I found one?! I feel so gross and ticked that they gave us a bedbug couch. I can’t stop itching now and I’m driving myself insane!

And here my husband is, just calm and collected while I’m sitting here on the other side of the couch staring at where I caught the little thing itching everywhere. I feel gross and like I need another shower already. Help me please. Is it possible to get rid of them by ourselves or do I have to hire someone to get rid of them?

I feel like my in-laws just pawned a bunch of crap on us. A weather machine with no cords to it, a bedbug couch 🤮, kitchen table with food stuck on it, a deep freezer that is cracked and has old food in it (which is moldy and smells to high heaven), falling apart and has freaking maggots in it. Also to top it off two broken down lawnmowers.

I really wish I would have been home to tell them no, we don’t want all this stuff. I wasn’t home when they dropped it all off, I was working.

Now, we have to pay extra trash fee to get it hauled away.
