Invisalign while pregnant?

I was wondering if it’s okay to get invisalign braces while pregnant? No i’m not going to a actual dentist I’m actually thinking about trying the Smile Direct Club club offer which I don’t have to go thru any X Rays’s & B4 y’all tell me yesssss I am asking my docs about it also but my next appt not til sept 18 so i wanted to get you ladies opinions?

I’d go to an actual dentist too. I had so much gum inflammation when I was pregnant, I was bleeding every time I brushed my teeth it was crazy. They recommend the dentist when pregnant specifically for these types of issues.

I got braces when I was pregnant with my son. I didn’t have any issues. The only frustrating part was that ibuprofen helps the most with the pain, and I couldn’t take it with the pregnancy. Tylenol seemed to barely help.

I am doing smile direct. I’m on month 6 out of 7 and currently 4 months pregnant. It can suck because when you’re hungry ( which happens very often while pregnant.. or just having to snack in general) it can be annoying to constantly have to floss and brush and put them back in. Also this week set is hurting .. so I have that on top of pregnancy discomfort lol.. but I’m seeing great results so I think it’s worth it honestly. Just have to be strong. I believe it’s safe:)

I don’t see why not but ask your obgyn just to be sure. Teeth and gum issues are definitely more common while pregnant, so there may be some risk the common person isn’t aware of.

Only I will say it may hurt worse lol. I’ve had smoke direct club and they HURT and when I’m pregnant my gums are super sensitive

Definitely okay to do so long as you’re brushing 3 times a day.
