One cheek red and blotchy?

We noticed my 2 month old son's cheek is very red and blotchy the other day and we thought maybe he got a bit of a sunburn. Well its now Wednesday and it hasn't gotten any better. Its only on one cheek. I've tried putting eczema lotion on it. Its not warm to the touch so I don't think hes teething. Anyone else ever had this before?

Looks like my first’s eczema. Took us forever to find something that made it go away—50/50 mix of aquaphor and hydrocortisone.

Yeah I'd say it could be teething or from laying on that side often

Does he drool yet as if it were teething? And if he prefers laying on a certain side it could be a rash from that. Keep it dry with burp cloth or receiving blankets but pay don’t rub
