Asking hospital to keep lactation consultant out of my room

An

My last birth, my DD, now 3 years old... I only encountered pushy and rude lactation consultants. And this was going to several different classes before birth and then when I gave birth. My daughter was 4 weeks early and like most preemies didn’t want to latch. All the consultants that came into my room were rough and honestly demeaning. Fast forward and I was pumping every 4 hours and dealing with a colicky baby. My pediatrician said to try sensitive formula and it helped alternating it with breast milk. But I was starting to be really run down with a colicky baby and a pumping schedule. They hounded me to teach her to latch. My breasts had gotten ginourmous and I don’t blame our preemie from not wanting to feed from that. My doctor finally called enough and told me to stop breastfeeding for my own health.

The consultants still demeaned me.

This time I am thinking about asking the hospital to keep them out of my room with my husband as gatekeeper. My nurse helped me more with breastfeeding then these fanatics. I encountered probably 8 different consultants in my journey and all were nasty people in their “counseling”

Thoughts?

This time I’m completely fine picking up formula at anytime after birth. I was formula fed and feel reasonably intelligent with multiple degrees. Lol
