Sexless marriage. Is it that common?

Me and husband are very much in love with each other. Our sex life aren't great. I think i have a low libido.. Seems that my husband is the same. Both of us are 35yrs old. 
When we have sex, its really bcos we feel we have to do it just bcos normally everyone in love will have sex. We only do it once or twice a month. And dragging to do it thou. 
We prefer cuddles, kisses, and other intimacy but not sex. We communicated about this and felt that we shouldn't be worrying about other people's relationship..
I was wondering if there's anyone who have the same "preferences" in their marriage?Should I be worried that we aren't normal?

There is no such thing as "normal". What is normal for me might not be normal for you.
There is no reason to try to follow someone else's idea of normal.
If it works for you it works for you.  A couple times a month is FAR from a sexless marriage.

Yes I think this is way more common than people admit. Are you ok with your current sex status? As long as you both are, then it’s totally fine.

I wouldn’t worry too much, the longer you have been together sex seems to drop down the priority list.....1-2 times a month is fine as long as u are both happy with that.....me and my OH use to do it 3-4 times at the beginning of our relationship but now it’s down to about once a week.....but we are fine with that, so as long as u are then stop worrying 👌 life just gets in the way sometimes, what with work, tiredness etc......if u did it 4-5 times a week surely it would get boring eventually right???  I find the longer we go without it makes it feel even better when we eventually do it 😉xx

If it’s something both of you don’t want then I think it’s totally fine if you don’t have sex! All that matters is you meet each other’s needs emotionally and physically and if your physical needs are met just by cuddling and kissing then that’s fine

If neither of you guys want to have sex and that's not an issue then don't have sex who cares what other people do. What, do people come up to you on the street and ask if you have sex with each other
