Baby wakes early but doesn’t cry so we let her be.
Im not a morning person but apparently our baby is. She goes to bed btwn 7:30-9 and typically wakes at 8... or so we thought. When I wake I immediately look at the monitor and to my surprise our baby would be awake in her crib but happily playing and “talking” to herself. She never cries in the mornings or even when she wakes from naps. So I’d sit there and watch her on the monitor until she would start her “grunting” which still isn’t a cry for someone or something - just a noise she loves making for months now which i would then get her from her crib. BUT here’s the kicker - so with the monitor we have it will video record any movements it picks up on and saves a 30 second video clip each time. I started to go back and look at them and to my surprise our baby would be awake not at 8ish like we thought but awake at 6:30! Happy is can be and not a peep from her for that entire time. She’s always got a huge smile when I get her out of her crib and never any signs of her having crying plus I have video to show she’s been perfectly contempt and happy by herself in her crib for those hours. SO, my question is - is this bad parenting that we don’t scoop her up right away when she wakes or are we just incredibly lucky that she “knows” mommy and daddy aren’t morning ppl and doesn’t want to “bother” us? What would you do? Would you let him/her be or would you scoop them up immediately?
