Anyone ever been pregnant and not know until the child is born?

I've heard of this happening several times with some woman that don't know that they are pregnant until the baby is actually born. Was wondering if anyone has ever experienced this. I think its interesting.

My college roommate and I were always fascinated by the show "I Didn't Know I Was Pregnant"

Now that I'm pregnant myself, I can't fathom how women don't know. I can understand that some women spot throughout pregnancy or don't really gain a lot of weight. But how do you not feel the baby move or anything? Blows my mind!

I guess they're just bigger people that aren't in tune with their bodies or just choose to ignore things when they happen

My friends niece just had a baby and she didn't know. She is heavier set. She thought she had the stomach flu and gave birth to a 7 pound baby on the toilet. Talk about an easy pregnancy!

My husband's cousin is 5'11" tall and has a very thin, lanky frame. After her honeymoon she started gaining a little weight around her midsection, what some would call a small pooch. The kind you would get after eating a large meal. She had irregular periods and actually spottied at random times throughout the pregnancy. According to her doctors, because she was tall and had a long torso the baby was hidden by the lower part of her ribcage. She had been having discomfort around her diaphragm and chalked it up to heartburn. The night she went into labor the doctors actually thought she had a ruptured apendix. Thankfully the little girl was healthy. It happened again early this year. You would think she would learn her body 😐. She found out this February that she was actually 7 months along with a little boy.

My step sister went to ER with what she thought was severe back pains and found out she was in labor! It was shocking and crazy and exciting and stressful

My future mother in law was in a bad car accident when my fiancé was two. She found out she was eight months pregnant with a baby girl at the hospital. Sadly, she lost the baby due to the accident.

I had a friend who ran marathons. She would diet and train intensely for months leading up to her run. Because of this it wasn't unusual for her to miss her period for many many months at a time. She happened to be in the middle of training when she went for a regular check up.  She found out she was 7 months pregnant.

This happened with my friend a few months ago. Shes a bigger girl and has PCOS. One day she thought she had cysts popping. Another friend said she needed to go to the hospital because she was obviously in a lot of pain. They didn't make it to the hospital. She was was wearing a dress that day. They baby slid out onto the floor. She didn't know until then that she was pregnant. She tore from front to back. Her baby was full term and healthy. She felt no fetal movement. The only thing she noticed was back pain. But she assumed it was just a result of her being over weight. You couldn't tell by looking at her that she was pregnant. With her first pregnancy, she didn't find out until she was 20 weeks. It wasn't that she didn't know her body. She was used to having irregular periods because of the pcos.

My sil didn't know until she was 5 months with her third. Only because she has lupus so she gets nausea b/c of meds anyways and steriods made her swollen. So, I can see how those signs were not evident for her. Luckily, her little girl is healthy. But I have not known someone that didn't know until they gave birth.

Actually me at 17 going on 18! I had heavy bleeding like my period then it stop took a test..positive went to the Dr... Congratulations Mrs. King you're four months.....but due to the father at the time...my child is my angel baby. But no sickness, I lost weight, no cravings, mood was fine(even when tryna get away from my crazy abusive boyfriend),. Felt nothing difference if it wasnt for me late and one day spotting I would never knew lol
