My mother in law lives with me. She has health issues so she lives with my husband and I but pays rent each month to us. She also has a car payment and has two foster kids so with her disability money by time she pays all her bills she doesnt have extra spending money. My husband and I have extra spending money but not a lot plus trying to grow our savings. My mil always comes to my husband and ask him to buy this or that and it isnt stuff she needs just wants. Like today it was a $32 little kids rocking chair she wants for christmas time to put her bear in. My husband told her to ask me because he doesnt want her to be deprived of anything. If this was you in my shoes how would you handle it and try to make your husband see your point? I need help.
