Tips for getting 14 month old to drink more
My 14 month old is just really struggling to drink whole milk...or even to drink a lot in general, especially when at daycare. He seems to want to drink more at home. He probably only takes a few sips of his milk each day...and prefers water or water mixed with juice when he does drink. I’m desperate to get fluids in him...he just doesn’t want to drink much. He likes to take small sips here and there and have access to the sippy at all times...but at daycare, I think they can’t leave the sippy cups out so the babies don’t drink out of one another’s cups...he isn’t drinking well with them when he is offered the cup. He is wetting diapers, though not as soaked as they used to be and his pee has been more yellow than normal...but he seems happy...and eats really well. He’s totally fine drinking from a sippy...just doesn’t want to drink much. Especially his milk. I try to replace the dairy with yogurt and cottage cheese, but still don’t feel like he gets enough calcium, much less enough fluid in general. Tips on getting a toddler to drink more???? And to drink more milk as well? ps all of this has been causing constipation issues as well :-(
