I really want to have sex with my bf and he wants to as well. I have read other posts and they all say to wait until your older and I’m 14 when do you think we should? Because we both are ready now.

Lol your not ready. We all been there.. please just wait a couple more years? Give yourself a chance to focus on school a little more. A lot of girls are becoming pregnant so young and i wouldn't want the same for you. At least they try wait till your a junior or senior to make a decision like that. There is no shame in waiting a little more. Be safe!

I waited longer than most my friends, and kids these days. But I’m almost 30 now.. and to be honest it’s probably my ONLY REGRET. Not waiting just a little longer. I would have given it up to someone a whole lot more worthy. Don’t let your hormones decide for you. Masturbate (if that’s something you do - love yourself first) and then think about it with a clear mind. If you can talk to your mom (or a female adult you can talk to). No judgment anyway.

At your age all of my friends were doing it and I felt the pressure... I decided I wasn’t ready and gave myself a “deadline” or goal to wait until I was 16. Looking back now I still wasn’t ready. But I felt much more confident that I waited and didn’t just do it bc everyone else was. JS either way be safe! Planned parenthood gives our condemns for free! No questions asked. If you think your ready for sex you have to be ready to confidently protect yourself. At 16 I also went to my mom who was always very open with me. We went to my OB and got birth control. She knew I wasn’t sexually active but was thinking about it and she wanted to make sure I was fully prepared. I hope my girls will be just as open and honest with me.

I was always convinced it was pretty much evil to have sex any younger than 18. I’ve grown since then but still think it’s a lot more risky at a young age. At 14, I still felt like a child. I waited till I graduated high school and was with a man that I knew I’d be with for a long time, if not forever, while all my friends had sex at around fourteen, and just ended up heartbroken because the relationships they were in were short lived and immature. I suggest waiting but it’s really up to you. Please look in to birth control methods first! And don’t ever let a boy talk you out of a condom if that’s what you need to feel safe from STDs and pregnancy.

don’t make your age a big issue i was 14 too when i lost it.. if you are comfortable wit him and want to do it then do it .. jus make sure you protect yourself!
