1 year old girl birthday gift?

This is probably a dumb question but oh well . My niece turned 1 and I have no clue what to buy . I have 2 boys so that’s easy , but what kind of toys are they even into like Barbie ? Or just little baby toys will do ?

My daughter and niece both just turned one recently. Big hits for both included singing/musical board books and mega bloks or LEGO dulpo sets. We also did the Fisher Price Laugh and Learn Purse and Fisher Price Little People sets (school bus, airplane, Helping Hands Doll House etc.) which they are growing into using.

Anything with age 1 on it or 12 months. Diapers, wipes, and 12 month clothes work well as gifts too. My son loves books as gifts. ❤

Most of the time babies play with things that aren’t even intended to be toys. I would go with books instead. You can read books for years but they outgrow some of these toys in months. And a one year old will never remember what you got them as a gift. You can also get clothes for them too.

I’d skip the toys since she doesn’t know any better and get something more useful. My favorite gifts from my daughter’s first birthday party were shoes, clothes, sippy cups, little plate/utensils and my brother in law/sister in law taking her to the zoo one day just them!

My daughter just turned one and we got her mega bloks. They have this cute little mega bloks wagon that when they push it over the blocks it picks them up. At this age boys and girls like the same things really.
