Have any of you moms ever lost batches of that precious liquid gold?? How did you ladies deal with it?

I pumped a bunch for a road trip and when we got there I was able to remember to put milk bags in the fridge but forgot to put in a bottle that had 4oz of milk. 
Then on the way home we were in a rush to leave one gross hotel to another nice one and I’m BF and my MIL was getting the milk and forgot it all in the fridge there.

I had tons of milk in our downstairs freezer which also held other frozen foods. One night my 9 year old son went down and got an ice cream bar and never closed the freezer. I lost about 160oz of milk along with other various foods. It was devastating. I had to literally carry all of the milk to the trash. Stock pile gone.

I had started my freezer stash, only to find out about a week later my baby has thrush dr said to throw it all out. I guess there is a chance it can re infect her when she eats it.
