What to expect?

Question

I have my next appointment in 6 days. I will be 12 weeks. What should I expect at that appointment? Will the dr do another ultrasound?

At my 12 week appointment I got an ultrasound and did NIPT testing, which is an optional blood test, but it allows you to find out the gender early and learn your risk for chromosomal abnormalities. He finally looked like a baby instead of a jelly bean at 12 weeks!

Answer

I would expect to be weighed, listen to the heartbeat with a Doppler, and possibly measure your belly. They don’t do too much most monthly appointments
