Soreness after methotrexate

Has anyone had soreness where their ectopic was months later? Two months ago I have received the methotrexate shot. The last month, I haven’t really felt soreness until now. It’s been pretty sore these last couple days. I’m supposed to start my period soon, not sure if that’s related. Anyone experience something similar?
