I paid good money for this?!!!

Question

Sooo I wanted to change my hair, was really excited for it. And I just feel like I didnt get what I wanted at all. I wanted more icy blonde tones. And I feel as if my hair still just as dull. 
Sadly I don't have a good before picture to show what it looked like before but here is the best one to kinda see ⬇️

To me it looks absolutely nothing even close to. In person it looks so much darker, not blonde at all. 
The cut also irritates me. She literally just asked how short I wanted it and just cut. She didn't ask me about the bangs, how I wanted my layers, nothing. And I paid this lady $400. That's including the tip. 
I just want to cry. I'm pregnant with our second and just wanted good looking hair to help feel better about myself and instead I feel even more meh. To me it's just not cute. I tried curling it today and she left my hair still so thick that the curls didn't even stay. 
What do y'all think??

Honestly, besides the cut it doesn't look THAT bad. Yeah it's a little off from what you want color wise but more toner could fix that. I would just message her and say that you feel like you want it to be blonder and see if she could also fix the cut that you want it to be a little more thinned out. Its something that could be easily fixed. In the mean time I would get some purple shampoo/conditioner to help. Redkin or joico are my favorite.

So sorry you're not happy with it! Id be the same if I were you.. the colouring isn't right and the cut is so blunt and uneven. I'd call up and just express you aren't exactly happy with the results and if they aren't up to fix it id go somewhere else

I actually think the color looks fine. Remember it’ll look different in different lighting.
The cut on the other hand I’d be pissed. There’s no blending and it’s choppy. But easily fixable!!!!

The color isn’t bad but the cut is... awful. Girl I’m sorry. She hacked your hair something awful. I would call the salon and go to the manager and say you want it fixed. They *should* help you, for that price point. My best friend is a high end hairdresser, do you want me to ask her what you should have done to fix it?

The cut is choppy, the layers arent blended, you needed to get a shadow root, it is in the picture you have as an example, the color should have been toned to a cool undertone, yours is neutral. If I were you I would go back to the salon and show the owner your hair compared to the picture. Some places refuse to do a refund, but will offer to fix it. With it being lightened, they might suggest letting the hair "rest" for a week, you should not be required to pay again to get it fixed. Good luck and please give an update.

It’s bad. Were you blonde before? If not maybe the stylist tried to do that all in one day which is impossible so it ended up like that. Or they just don’t know what they are doing.

gosh, it looks so choppy. if i were you i’d cut those ends up to my shoulders. lady did a horrible job.
