What is something your parents were weird about when you were growing up?

Mine was: My dad wouldn’t go to bed until I had taken a shower. I have been married 2 1/2 years now and to this day I still don’t understand why he was like that. He would hound me about it until I took one. If I was going to take a shower the next morning, I had to tell him that. My mom confronted him one night and was like “Why does that bother you so much?” 😂 I guess he just didn’t want me to be up if he was asleep 🤷🏻‍♀️
