When you put your baby to bed do you put them to bed and then walk out the room? Or do you put them to bed and then stay with them until they fall asleep? My son will fall asleep by himself and I don't have to be in the room for him to fall asleep, but for me I like to stay until hes asleep as it hurts my heart a little to think he falls asleep without anyone with him. But if I don't stay in his room will it be better for me in the long run as when he gets older he won't expect me to stay? I don't know what to do for best really?
