When does it get easier 😫

My DD is only 9 days old but I barely feel like I'm surviving. When did things get easier for you and your baby?

Four months is around when I felt like an actual relief. Looking back at it now...I would say everyday it gets a little easier. Just take things day by day. Things don’t have to be perfect, just work on getting through the day.

3 weeks I felt better but then he got bad wind, 3-4 months now and I feel like a boss lady

I feel like I finally had a handle on things and a good routine around 3mo. Before that it was all survival honestly.

By 2 months we were sort of in a routine of things. I can't say it really got easier since my son had colic but everything was just falling into place by that time, and I felt more comfortable handling things.

I felt more myself and in a routine by 2 months for sure. I went back to work at 6 weeks pp, and I did fine. It's rough those first few weeks, we've all been there! Just focus on taking care of that baby and your body. Everything else can wait. This is the time to let others help you. It also helped me to be reminded that that sweet baby just wants her mama! There's no better job for you right now than being there for her. You're doing a great job!

I would say it took about 5 months before I felt we had a good routine down. It takes awhile. And you do go into survival mode. But looking back, even though it was some of the hardest days, they were some of our best days too. I miss my now 3 year old being so tiny. We have a little girl due in 2 weeks. I know it will be a whole different kind of hard, but I am so looking forward to all of it once more. Breathe it in, because you blink and the years go by!

It gets a little easier at like two weeks and then a little easier again at 6 weeks imo. But my kids are bad sleepers, so I felt like a zombie until just recently when they finally decided to not wake me every hour or two. And they are 6 years, 3 years and 17 months old lol.
So it takes a while
