How do I Make a whole milk and liquid formula bottle for my 1 year old? FTM

When I started I made 7oz of formula in a bottle. Then filled it up to 8 with milk. Then a few days later 6oz formula and filled it 8 with milk, then 5oz and fill it up to 8, etc. 
Worked with all 3 of my kids. They wouldn't take milk on it's own at all, I had to do it slowly over a few weeks with formula. It was probably easier for their tummies to get used to as well. 
But yes, prepare formula like you normally would, then add milk to that. Don't put formula powder into milk. At least, I've never heard of anyone doing it that way. . .

I personally didnt mixed it.. I started justa few weeks before she was 1.. I gave my daughter one ounce at a time and if i seen no reaction and she was taking it well i starting more.. I was still breastfeeding and formal until she wad 1 1/2... Now at 2 1/2 she drinks the milk cold like nothing... Just take your time introducing the whole milk to your baby...

Mix formula then add milk. I started one ounce replaced by milk for a week, then two ounces, etc.
