Like the previous comments, there’s no stopping them. Some women are lucky and don’t get them, some get them very early. It’s very much a genetic thing. However, using these product won’t hurt AND will provide some comfort when you are super itchy!

I applied from the day I found out (1 week!) and still ended up with what resembles a world road map on my tummy. Apparently it’s to do with skin type and genetics so I’d just go with it. My mum and my nana had stretch marks too so guessing it was inevitable for me. Try not to worry about them too much (I’m trying not to too!) as it’s all part of the course for some of us and I’m told they fade really well!

With my first baby I applied bio oil, Shea butter, coconut oil, you name it, every single day since I found out I was pregnant. I made it all the way to 38 weeks without a single stretch mark and thought yay I’m in the clear!!!! And then they all popped up literally overnight. I was so disappointed LOL. 
I’m not sure there’s much you can do, you either get them or you don’t.

Yesterday, LOL. Start as soon as possible. It doesn’t have to be special stretch mark cream. I have applied only one body milk designed for very dry skin and I have started applying it from the moment I found out I was pregnant, twice daily. I am very prone to stretch marks and I didn’t get not a single one.  😄😄😄

First trimester once before bed second trimester am and pm or whenever you start to itch. 3rd trimester as often as you can.
