Should I test every 12 hours waiting for ovulation?

I know some people test 2x a day and I made the mistake of taking one and then taking the next one in 3-4 hours. I don’t know how Sensitive OPK are and if every 12 hours is a good time frame

The LH surge should happen between 10am and 8pm so if you’re going to test it should be in the window.
If using OPK sticks don’t test fmu, but the digitals will tell you to use fmu.

I think that's too long of a time frame. Honestly I would do 2 times a day. Whenever you want. Maybe 11 am and one around 5 or 6pm. Obviously do a 4 hour hold for each. But then this is at 2 very different times where you're sure to catch it. But for me, I was testing every day twice or 3 times a few months ago and it made me so stressed because I never saw a real positive. Last month i switched opk brands and also bought pink stork because my periods are whack. I finally started having symptoms of ovulation and cm. I wasnt testing every day since my cycle started. I tested maybe 3 days and then went on vacation for a week not testing. I got back and took an opk at 830/9am when I woke up (i woke up at 545am to pee beforehand and went back to bed) and the opk was blazing positive. I believe had I not tested that early in the morning I never would've caught my surge. So I dont believe in following instructions on it has to be between 10am and after. I think it was pure luck I hadn't been testing consistently this month, and the 2 mornings I woke up and decided to, I got my positives. Praying it's a sign. Good luck to you
