Dopplers??

How often do you ladies use your Doppler’s ? I haven’t felt much movement lately & I find myself using it once a day for the past week but not sure it’s bad to use it often

Honestly I used it from weeks 9-15 then I started feeling the baby movements. I’m 20 weeks and I know longer use it because long as I feel her wiggle at some point during the day I know she’s okay.

I have an anterior placenta and being FTM with two previous losses and a rainbow baby on the way, having a doppler at home has helped tremendously with my anxiety. Since I barely feel the little guy most days (19+5 today), hubby and I have been using our doppler once every 2-4 days and typically for 2-3 mins each time (includes time spent finding baby’s heartbeat). We’ve only had the doppler for a little more than 2 wks ago and I wish I had it sooner because it would’ve helped ease my anxiety so much in those earlier weeks! I do understand that heartbeat alone does not guarantee baby’s health so if there’s anything concerning I’d still talk to my doctor or go to ER.

I use mine once a day to find heartbeat, listen for a moment, and shut it off to find where baby is and to reassure myself they’re okay! After I consistently feel them moving, I don’t see a need to use it anymore unless I can’t feel movement. I’m 18+3 and not feeling much movement yet so I still worry!

I typically use it once a week just to add it to my log. I’ve read different things different places from saying once or twice a week, to saying once a day is fine. You’re probably fine. Hospitals tend to slap one on you for the entirety of your labor regardless of how long it is, so it can’t be that bad.

I used it twice a day from 11 weeks until recently but just for a few seconds. Once i found the heartbeat I’d turn it off. Now i feel her and have been since about 18 weeks consistently so i don’t feel the need to use it as often but, my fiancé has only gotten to feel her once so far so i let him listen for a second whenever he asks 😊 so we may still use it every day/every other day. Not for more than 10 seconds or so though

I gave mine to my friend now that I'm feeling movement frequently. Haven't used it since 19 weeks.

I use mine every two to three days but that’s only because I’ve got a anterior placenta and her movement aren’t that strong atm I’m nearly 19 weeks 1 day with baby three and I use it to make sure she’s okay as I can’t really feel her much
