Make up for scheduled C section?

I have a scheduled c section on Tuesday. My instructions only say to make sure I shower the morning of and no food or drink after midnight. Is it okay to wear make up? I don’t care if you think it’s silly I just know my family will be taking and posting a bunch of pictures and I’d rather not look like death 🤷🏼‍♀️😊 My last baby was an emergency c section and I had make up on since I went into labor in the middle of the day.

I’m def wearing makeup to my csection. Plan on getting my hair blown out the day before and a fresh mani pedi also. Might even get some lashes done. Do it up! 💁🏼‍♀️🎉😂

Yaaas, makeup! I’m going to try as soon as we decide to go into the hospital (I tried and failed miserably last time). 
I was an L&D RN and I always told myself I’d do the exact same thing when I saw these beautiful, confident Mommas come in with hair done and perfect makeup.
I doubt you’ll even get any pushback for lotion and perfume.
The surgical area gets cleaned and prepped a minimum of 2 times. 
Oh, and maybe shave down there if you haven’t already because they will do their best to “clip” the area if you don’t. 
Mani, pedi, fresh hair. Do it all Mamma, if you get any guff- they’re just impressed but jealous!

At my pre-op appointment, they told me makeup and deodorant were fine... but no lotions and perfumes. I have soap to wash with morning of as well.

If you are feeling up to do your make up, go for it! And don’t let anyone tell you otherwise mama!

I believe it's okay! I woke makeup during my last labor and they didn't have me remove it.
I plan to wear a little this time too!!
