So my boyfriend and I are in a long distance relationship. We’ve been together for almost 3 years and have been long distance for almost a year (we graduated college and moved back home) we see each other like once or twice a month and out of nowhere yesterday he tells me he “needs space”. When we talked about he basically kept saying i need space i need space without a REAL reason. He says it’s for work but i know for a fact he isn’t working or planning on working when we call/FaceTime or visit each other. We already don’t live together anymore and don’t see each other as often so in my head there’s really isn’t anymore space i can give. I even told him if i give him anymore space we’re basically done. I don’t really know where his head is at and i feel like we’re 3 years into the relationship so it’s a little late to play games or try to keep me on my toes. I’m just confused. I have been suspicious that someone else is in the picture, not because I saw anything but just based off of pure intuition. I just feel like something is up. I’m so conflicted I don’t know whether to just go about my life giving him “space” or if I should disregard the convo or really what I should do. I feel like I’m not getting any information so i really don’t know what to do..
