How did you feel after a membrane sweep?

Didn’t need it with my first, was just induced with  a low drip of pitocin, but we are trying a sweep with this one to try and not go past my due date

I had it done at 39 weeks & 3 days. I started leaking fluid less than 12 hours later. My water fully broke 12 hours later after getting the sweep done. Had my son 3 days later

I got a sweep done on Thursday morning, water broke by 2 pm (slow leak), & had my first baby on Friday morning. I was 39+3. I didn’t find it to be terribly uncomfortable.

Mine didn’t work the first time. My water broke a week later.

I had it with each of my pregnancies and it worked 1 out of 4 times! My water broke 2 days after it was done but labor didn’t start so I needed to be induced. This time I had a ton of bloody mucus and thought I’d go into labor but I’m being induced Tuesday. I had it done 5 days ago and still no baby.

I’ve had one with at least 3 of my 5 previous pregnancies and it did absolutely nothing. It was super uncomfortable. Also, with two of them I bleed heavy, period like for a day afterwards.
