I’m very tender headed and I have natural curly African hair and it hurts so much to brush through it. Especially when I’m getting my hair braided I get scared. I don’t know if it’s because I’m light skinned and people look at me because we look different or what but I feel so uncomfortable and unsafe where I get my hair done. But most places in my town don’t do black girl hair so I have to go to other towns to get it done and a lot of times the place isn’t clean and the hair stylist is rude and uncaring.
